Beaumont PotteryGerard 'Jerry' Beaumont founded Beaumont Pottery, Inc. in 1970. He spent several years as the village potter at the Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Later, he expanded his salt glaze works across the border into York, Maine.

Jerry Beaumont PotteryOver the years he has built potteries in Ohio and North Carolina. Jerry's mark, the Cross, continues to authenticate his pieces.

In Maryland since 1998, Beaumont Pottery is Jerry's most successful, albeit smaller, pottery works. At the location on Jarrettsville Pike, Jerry Beaumont still hand turns each piece. His wife, Janet, works alongside him, finishing pots similar to the one that you see here.
